Music FUNdamentals
Course Description
: Music FUNdamentals is an introductory theory class that focuses on the general elements of music, including: rhythm, time signatures, major and minor keys and scales, modes, intervals, chord types, cadences, basic chord progressions, simple harmonization, composition, and fundamental form and analysis.
Open to: All members of the Philharmonic, Vivace, Camerata, Flute Choir, and Clarinet Choir
Additional Benefits: Corresponds well to the lower levels of Certificate of Merit and will contribute to students’ ability to advance to the next level.
