STEP 2: Sign up for Audition
After submitting the online application, you will be redirected to the Auditions Time Slot page where you will
reserve your audition time. An automated confirmation email will be sent to you and to our administration.
Make sure you confirm your audition time using the link within the email!

STEP 3: Payment
Bring cash, check, or money order for $20 to the Audition on September 11th.

IMPORTANT:
Remember: Watch for the automated Emails from SCYP. Save the completed, printed form -- If accepted to
the Southern California Youth Philharmonic, you will be required to have it signed, then return that form on
Registration Day with your tuition - the first day of rehearsal, September 18th.

The Southern California Youth Philharmonic program is designed as a supplement to a child’s regular music instruction. As such, all members of the SCYP are expected to be active participants in their school music programs. In the event of a conflict between an activity of the SCYP and a school music program, the school program activity will take precedence. By signing below, parents/guardians understand that for each accepted applicant there is a $650 participation fee,
which covers the season cost of instruction, all materials, and liability insurance, plus a $150 fund raising commitment.
Parents/Guardians are invited to be active supporters through volunteer opportunities and will aide in their child’s
successful attendance at the SCYP rehearsals, workshops and concerts.

Volunteerism is a cornerstone of our organization, and as such, parents are encouraged to donate their time and talent at concerts, workshops, rehearsal set-up and tear down and possible fundraising. If you have a special talent which might help SCYP be even more effective, please note it here:
